The Alila Purnama Expedition offers up the underwater heavens of Eastern Indonesia.
From October 2016 to March 2017, their fabled ship Alila Purnama will be sailing proud through the marine rich Raja Ampat region of West Papua. Translated as “four kings” from Bahasa, the Raja Ampat archipelago hosts 1,200 species of fish and 500 species of coral. Once aboard, personal cruise directors debrief guests on the 10-days of sites the ship will be cruising too and what activities they can enjoy—from picnics and kayaking to snorkeling and scuba diving. Trekking trips take guests on cave explorations, as well as on jungle journeys to hidden white sand beaches. Private chefs whip up out of this world meals and a crew of 16 stand at the ready to ensure maximum pleasure—including a live aboard spa therapist!
Is it any wonder that “Alila” is the Sanskrit word for “surprise”?
