This is the gold standard of yachting Hong Kong style!
The 16th Hong Kong Gold Coast Boat Show running from April 29 to May 2 is bringing over 12,000 boat lovers together for maritime merriment.
Robert Blythe, General Manager of the Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club, said, "With more than 260 islands and 700km coastline, Hong Kong is an amazing destination for boating. Over the four days, we will showcase the region’s pleasure boating industry and aim to offer both local and overseas boat lovers a variety of options for every kind of budget."
Featured pleasure-crafts include the classy Arcadia 85. Naturally stretching at 85 feet, this sleek vessel by Arcadia Yachts defines eco-luxury with over 431 square feet of solar panels. Other fine ladies of the sea include two princesses: the Princess S72 and Project 30. The S72 embodies today's latest designs, whilst the Project 30 is a refurbished ship that pays homage to 50 years of Princess Yachts perfection.
The grounds also host sailboats and smaller ships for testing and cruising around the harbor. Concession stands with fine international and Chinese food are also on hand to suit all tastes. Added Mr. Blythe, "The boat show is also intended for the whole family by offering a multitude of activities.”
As with past boat shows here, expect good music and evening entertainment.
As a media sponsor of this event, South China Sea Magazine will be deck-side to capture the fun!
Catch you there!
